Pat Fenner — Owner, Operations Director

Pat brings more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the commercial trucking industry. His background includes over-the-road driving, oil-field hauling, and long-term ownership and operation of semi-trucks and repair equipment. He has held a Class A CDL for over 20 years, giving him extensive knowledge of vehicle safety, maintenance, and real-world operational standards. His leadership and technical expertise form the foundation of MileOne's training approach.

Denitra McGraw Maxey — Co-Owner, Executive Director

DeDe contributes nearly two decades of operational leadership, Human Resources management, and compliance oversight. She has supported trucking companies for more than 10 years and brings direct experience in both over-the-road and oil-field operations. Her CDL experience strengthens her ability to oversee training quality, student support, and regulatory compliance. DeDe's background in safety, compliance, and student-focused service supports MileOne's commitment to professionalism, integrity, and high-quality training.

Mariann Quick — Executive Administrator

Mariann brings over 20 plus years in administrative experience. She manages student processes, enrollment documentation, tracks attendance, and provides administrative support to instructors and school leadership. Her role supports compliance, documentation standards and reporting requirements.

Mitchell Maxey — School Director / Instructor II

Mitchell coordinates classroom instruction, range and road training, student evaluations, and compliance with FMCSA ELDT and TWC instructional standards. He holds a Class A CDL and has completed FMCSA-approved ELDT Instructor Training. With more than 12 years of commercial driving experience, including oil-field hauling and over-the-road operations, he brings a strong foundation in real-world driving practices. His instructional approach emphasizes safety, precision, and confidence-building to ensure students are fully prepared for CDL testing and

professional driving environments. As a Instructor II, Mitchell brings a safety focused training that reflects real world driving standards. 

Jeremy Green — Lead Instructor

Jeremy provides hands-on range and road instruction, conducts skills evaluations, and supports students in mastering required CDL competencies. He holds a Class A CDL, has completed FMCSA-approved ELDT Instructor Training, and maintains a teaching certification through his work with a CDL training institution. With over 20 years of commercial driving experience across oil-field operations and over-the-road routes, he brings practical insight into the challenges and expectations new drivers will face. His training style focuses on safety, situational awareness, and mastery of essential vehicle control skills.

Our campus administrative support staff, weekday and weekend instructors, and student services team work together to make sure you have the guidance and encouragement you need to reach your goals.
