1. How long is the CDL training program?
Training length varies depending on your program and experience level. Most students complete training from 2 to 6 weeks.
2. Do I need a permit before enrolling?
No. If you don’t have your permit yet, our Theory Training and ELDT courses will help you prepare for the written exam.
3. Do you offer job placement assistance?
Yes. MileOne partners with local, regional, and national carriers and provides support for students interested in becoming owner‑operators.
4. What are the class hours?
Classes run Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
5. Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Yes. We offer multiple payment options, including WIOA grants, layaway plans, in‑house payment plans, and cash specials.
6. Do you train women?
Absolutely. MileOne is a woman‑owned CDL school and proudly supports Women in Trucking. We encourage and empower women to enter the industry with confidence.
7. What do I need to bring to class?
Students should bring a valid Texas driver’s license, DOT physical and drug screen, and any materials provided during enrollment.If you do not have the medical certification we provide guidance on where to complete it.
8. Do you offer refresher training?
Yes. Our refresher program is ideal for drivers who have been out of the industry or want to rebuild confidence.
9. Do you help with the DOT physical and drug screen?
Yes. We provide guidance on where to complete your DOT physical and drug screen.

11. Do you offer Class B training?
Yes. We offer both Class A and Class B theory and behind‑the‑wheel training.
